Welcome
Is the future here?
Let’s face it, today we have all types of video games for people to play. The list of titles is absolutely an un-ending, I remember as I grew up, I was surrounded by new technology such as Atari or the Colour Computer. Games such as Donkey Kong, Zaxxon and Pitfall were all the rage. The consoles became faster, the graphics became more realistic and the games were out of this world, but we were still tied to the console with a stick and some buttons.

To take gaming beyond and further to this point would require us to completely get rid of the controller all together. Visualise playing a Kung-Fu game without having to hold onto a controller. Imagine having an exercise routine playing on TV and it will tell you whether you’re not going quickly enough, to bend your knees more or even if you lost some inches around your waist line. Take this even one step more, how you would like to be able to talk to it, order movies online, record TV shows and even recognize you and ask how you are doing when you walk into the room. It sounds a bit fun, but scary, but this is the future. And if I tell you it is around the corner would you believe me?
The Future of Videogames
Everyone has his own theory about the future of video games, I know my kids have, and they take it as far as possible with no boundaries, these days from their point of view everything is possible.
Predicting the future is not easy in the fast paced world of video games although Wii laid the ground for new trends taken by xbox kinect even further. I strongly believe we the players will become part of the game, look at this as diving into deep water and you surround by the magic of the ocean.
We will be the control our voice and movement will make it real and with time it will get better and better faster and with a lot more detail over the surrounding and the reality fill.
Fill free to give me your idea of what you think the future of video games might be.
